But the name is not the only thing conected to love - also people are friendly, open-minded and kind, the nature is green and untouched and various.
Since the country is small it is easy to handle and has a lot to offer - more than most. The longest drive to the other side of the country lasts just 3 hours.
From Bled you need good half hour to visit the capitol Ljubljana - picturess city, full of unique architecture, designed by well-know architect Jože Plečnik. In less than two hours from Vila Julija you can reach the Coast and swim in the sea, visit the old stone city centre or treat your self with tasteful sea luch in Portorož, Piran, Izola or Koper.
On your way back to Bled you can stop in the biggest European cave in Postojna and enjoy the unique train ride trough it. Check if the castle Predjama (in front of the cave) still stands and see the human fish. The region of Karst is a unique phenomenon in the world.
If you are adrenaline addicts, Soča Valley is right for you. Beside hiking, it offers many water adrenaline activities in the emerald river (as Soča is named) and Zip line between the mountains.
Dolenjska, Štajerska and Pomurje are known for their tasteful wine and cuisine, which can be great combined with Thermal Spas in the Area.
