Vila Julija
Vila Julija is located in the centre of Bled, one of the most known Slovenian tourist places. Its location in the alpine valley with a lake, an island on it and a castle on the clif above the lake give the town a special and almost fairytale sight.
The house was built in the year 1907, when it also got its first licence for tourist activities. Vila Julija has been renovated between the years 1990 and 2004.
Vila Julija offers three apartments. We call them the "green", the "blue" one and studio apartment. The difference between them is in the capacity. The green can accommodate 4 persons (max 6 if eg. two are also children), the blue one can accommodate 2 persons (max 3, if one is a child) and studi can accommodate 1 or 2 persons (studio means that the bedroom is not separated from the kitchen). All apartments have air-condition and are fully equipped with cable TV, locked WiFi, dishes, towels, bedlinen etc. All apartments are on a solid floor, not below the roof and because of the old thick stone walls they are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Studio apartment is located beside the main entrance into the house, and the green and blue ones are on the first floor. The entrance is from the main street, free parking space is in front of the villa, on the lower part. There are 10 stairs to reach the main entrance, following a solid path through the garden.
We also offer two bikes for rent (they need to be booked one day in advance) and a possibility of using a washing machine (without detergent and told in advance). A special storage for your own bikes is available as well as a storage room for ski equipment in the winter.
Keeping our home clean and cosy for our guests has always been important to us. Also now, we take special care and precautions in current time of COVID-19 disease. We follow all advises and measures, specified by National Institute of public health in Slovenia. We appeal also to you, our dear guests, to follow them too in order for us all to have the best possible experience in our home.
